Donut World: A Taste of America Abroad
Project Overview:
Working with Donut World was a dream assignment – bringing the classic American donut and coffee vibe to the Middle East. The mission? Create a brand that captured the energy, warmth, and flavor of an American donut shop while connecting with a Middle Eastern audience.

Brand Vision:
From the start, the client had a very specific vision: he wanted Donut World to feel unmistakably American, and he asked me to build the brand identity around the bright orange and pink color palette of Dunkin’ Donuts. His goal was to instantly connect with Middle Eastern audiences by using colors already synonymous with American coffee and donut culture.
My role was to take this directive and expand it into a complete, cohesive identity. I balanced the requested Dunkin-inspired hues with modern typography, bold patterns, and clean layouts, ensuring the brand felt professional, vibrant, and welcoming rather than a direct copy.

Design Process:
To capture the spirit of an American donut shop, I created a bright, playful logo with bold colors and clean lines — a little slice of Americana with a modern twist. Throughout the process, the client and I went back and forth on multiple color variations to find the right balance of brightness and warmth, ensuring the palette felt vibrant but approachable.
He also had a clear request: the logo should feature a donut while also evoking a sense of being “worldly.” I translated this into a circular mark that seamlessly blends the two ideas — the donut as a central motif, paired with global-inspired patterning to suggest connection and community.
The result is a mark that feels both familiar and unique: nostalgic for American audiences, yet fresh and exciting in its international context.

Packaging That Pops:
Packaging was the finishing touch! From donut boxes to coffee cups, each item incorporated Donut World's vibrant color scheme and modern look, ensuring every customer interaction felt special. Eye-catching, practical, and instantly recognizable – packaging was all about leaving a lasting impression.
The Impact:
Collaborating closely with the client, we built a cohesive, stand-out brand identity. Donut World quickly attracted loyal fans, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that brought a little taste of America to the region. The overwhelmingly positive feedback highlighted my ability to blend cultures into a unified, exciting brand!
