DESIGNING FOR AI
Overview / Context
At Jobcase, AI wasn’t just a buzzword — it was central to how we imagined the future of work. As part of a collaborative design team, I explored how AI tools could support both brand expression and product innovation. This meant learning new platforms, shaping visual systems, and designing cohesive experiences that made AI approachable and human.
AI CAREER COACHES
Jobcase wanted to bring AI to life in a way that felt approachable, trustworthy, and distinctly human. Our team’s challenge was to design AI Coaches — digital guides who could support members through their job search while representing the brand in a relatable way.
To get there, we:
Explored with MidJourney: Crafted and refined highly specific prompts to generate consistent, realistic avatars. Dozens of iterations helped us balance professionalism with warmth, ensuring the coaches felt authentic and approachable.
Selection of Coaches created using MidJourney
Collaborated on product flows: Worked with the product team to make sure the coaches integrated seamlessly into the Jobcase app experience, guiding users naturally instead of feeling robotic.
Brought them to life with Runway: Created animations that gave the coaches subtle motion and presence, adding personality and interactivity.
Gave them a voice with ElevenLabs: Used voice synthesis to explore how tone and delivery could further humanize the coaches and build trust with members.
The result was a suite of AI Coaches that went beyond static visuals — combining design, motion, and voice to feel like truly interactive, human-centered guides.
JOBCASE AI SITE & BRANDING
Alongside the coach project, our team designed and launched Jobcase AI — a dedicated microsite built to showcase the company’s AI-powered tools. The goal was to present Jobcase as AI-forward while keeping the experience approachable, clear, and on-brand.
I contributed across both brand and product design, including:
Visual Identity System: Developed the signature ombre gradient look and feel, and designed the Jobcase AI logo to give the microsite its own identity while tying back to the core Jobcase brand.
Website Design: Partnered on the architecture, layout, and user flows to ensure the site told a clear story of Jobcase’s AI tools.
Branded Assets: Created supporting visuals for campaigns and in-app tie-ins, so the microsite felt connected to the broader Jobcase ecosystem.
This project gave us the opportunity to not only craft a distinct identity for Jobcase’s AI work, but also design a cohesive, end-to-end digital experience that introduced members and partners to the company’s innovation in a compelling way.
