For Turntable Teachers, I developed a modern-retro brand identity that reflects their dual focus on music and education. The vinyl-inspired iconography, paired with bold nostalgic colors, captures the energy of classic music culture while staying versatile for digital-first use. The “tt” mark works seamlessly across social, merchandise, and live events, creating a system that feels professional, approachable, and rooted in the rhythm of storytelling through sound.
Alternative State
This brand was built around resilience, individuality, and the power of being unapologetically yourself. Inspired by the founder’s journey and the spirit of the “alternative kids” who took their own paths in life, the identity embraces grit and authenticity. The bold color palette, distressed textures, and raw typography were designed to reflect strength, rebellion, and community. From apparel to digital touchpoints, the system empowers wearers and supporters to own their differences proudly — embodying the brand’s ethos: Be different. Be real.
